THE EES ONLY ONE YOU ROCK GARDEN
The "Only One You" garden was a collaborative effort that included me, our school counselor, our art teacher, and our students. We conducted a book study with each Englewood Student on the children's book Only One You by Linda Kranz. This book teachers students the value of individuality and how we all contribute to the world. The students then painted their own, unique rocks to add to the garden.

SUMMER MIGRANT PROGRAM:
During my summer internship, I worked as a co-administrator for the Summer Migrant Program. I secured over $180 of community donations to give to families during our parent night. I also designed the invitation to our parent night that was sent to all of our students' families.

DISTRICT INSTRUCTIONAL FRAMEWORK
The administrative team implemented the district's new framework during the school year. We started with professional development during the opening meeting and in PLCs. Next, we established a common language ("I can" statements) and visual agendas to help teachers and students progress through a framework-based lesson. |
IEP MEETINGS
The administrative team worked together to attend all of the IEP and 504 meetings at the school. I served as the primary LEA representative for the majority of the speech IEP meetings throughout the year. As a school leader, it is paramount that you ensure that all of the IEP plans for your students are followed with fidelity.
